Tobacco Cessation and Bias –Tobacco and Mental Wellbeing Masterclass

Bias contributes to health disparities among individuals with mental health and substance use challenges. For these individuals who use tobacco, bias can also influence smoking behavior and hinder associated quit attempts and/or cessation. Join the National Behavioral Health Network for Tobacco and Cancer Control for a workshop designed to build awareness around the impact of bias on clients and staff, as well as deliver strategies to overcome barriers in tobacco cessation treatment.
